Weak Kindness Gives Birth To The Evil

Oil on canvas

When I went through my usual process of discernment of the images in the chaotic marks and brushstrokes in this case I saw a white and very disfigured white swan, almost liquid, boneless, who hugged a bit disturbing dark fledging.  I have transcripted it as a message about the source of the so-called good lacking power and producing so-called evil.

We must not mistake kindness for weakness as true kindness isn’t weak, it’s a certain type of strength. But the opposite is quite true in my opinion as sometimes weakness and/or passivity, not willing to take sides is described as kindness.  As Elie Wiesel said silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. Passive kindness helps the oppressor, not the victim.
